Who We Are
Local Bounty is Coshocton County’s only year-round farmers market

Local Bounty is Coshocton County’s only year-round farmers market. Our market is owned by our vendors from Coshocton and surrounding counties. Come rain or shine, our indoor market will protect you from the elements. We want to provide people with healthy food knowing where it comes from. Visit our market and get to know your farmer, baker or crafter. Our market is a great place to meet up with others; to educate yourself and your family; to shop locally; to volunteer.
Our vendors provide: meats (beef, pork, chicken, lamb and turkey), baked goods, eggs, fruits and veggies (seasonal), honey and syrups, granolas and trail mixes, milk (goat and cow), cheeses, soaps and salves, dry mixes and more. Vendors who provide products to Local Bounty must produce 100% of what they sell at the market. We do not allow vendors to buy and resell goods.

Local Bounty Coshocton, an Ohio Non-Profit Corporation, was established in 2011 to provide a year-round market place connecting consumers and producers of locally grown foods, other agricultural products and artisan creations. Our goals include but are not limited to the following:

- Encourage healthy eating
- Expand local economic development
- Promote community involvement
- Promote sustainable living
- Provide centralized locations in buildings for sale of locally grown foods and other local products year round by members and secondarily by non-members as space is available
- Educate, but not lobby, regarding the benefits of consuming healthy food and the benefits of a healthy local agricultural and artistic economy
- Engage in such other activities as are permitted by law
To achieve our goal of creating a sustainable local marketplace, we invite Ohio producers (farmers, processors, artisans) to become members of Local Bounty Coshocton and to sell products at our retail establishment and through our distributor relationships. We encourage membership by those who use or want to transition to environmentally responsible and sustainable growing practices and animal husbandry, who provide products of high quality, and who are actively engaged in the labor of farming or crafting their products, no matter how small their business. No money will be retained by Local Bounty Coshocton from sales from members or non-members except that amount determined by the Board of Managing Directors reasonably necessary to maintain centralized locations for sales; pay salaries, benefits, and expenses for sales persons and such other reasonable and necessary expenses including but not limited to all forms of insurance, taxes, and other costs usually associated with managing a business.
